The Kon-Tiki Ports was a famous mid-century Polynesian restaurant chain operated by Steve Crane Associates in collaboration with Sheraton Hotels. The flagship Kon-Tiki Ports in Chicago (505 N. Michigan Ave) opened in 1962 and featured five themed dining rooms before closing in the 1980s.The chain featured several renowned "Ports of Call" across North America.
