Tragically Tiki is an independent memorial apparel project that designs and sells original commemorative goods inspired by closed and defunct tiki bars, restaurants, and lounges of the 20th century. This site is operated by Clay Blair, a sole proprietor. For inquiries, contact hello@tragicallytiki.com.

No Affiliation. Tragically Tiki is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the establishments referenced on this site or their owners, estates, successors, or assigns. All establishments referenced have ceased operation. References to defunct businesses are made for historical, educational, and commemorative purposes.

Nominative Use. Names, signage references, and historical imagery of closed establishments are used nominatively to identify and discuss the specific cultural and historical subjects of this project. Such use is intended to fall within the doctrines of nominative fair use and historical commentary under U.S. trademark and copyright law. Where a referenced establishment has a known living estate, successor entity, or revived operation, products are not produced without good-faith review or, where appropriate, license.

Original Creative Work. All artwork, illustrations, layouts, and written content on this site are original works created for or commissioned by Tragically Tiki, except where explicitly credited. Reproduction or commercial use of any original Tragically Tiki design without written permission is prohibited.

Takedown Requests. If you are a rights holder, estate representative, or family member with a verifiable connection to a referenced establishment and wish to request modification or removal of a specific product, please contact takedown@tragicallytiki.com. Good-faith requests will be reviewed promptly.
